about

The uvScene is about fostering community and curiosity in the Upper Valley through the use of online media. Initially founded to “bring people together and make dreams come true,” the site has continued to grow and connect a diverse group of people all across the Upper Valley. The staff, all volunteers, blog about the people, places and things that define and affect the UV, offering several regular columns as well as single stories, features, reviews and resources for social, cultural, environmental and other interests. Our goal is to continue to create local community and inspire others to explore their own backyard. Anyone is free to join in the discussion. We encourage you become a writer for the uvScene, leave comments on the blog or join the conversation at uvMeet.com.

How is the uvScene run?

We hold bi-monthly writers potlucks at the Main Street Museum in WRJ. Any and all are welcome. We will post the meeting minutes and nitty-gritty on the uvScene Business page. Contributors to the uvScene do so out of the love of the Upper Valley and their own passion for improving the quality of life here. However, the views and opinions expressed belong solely to the contributors and are not necessarily held by the uvScene as a whole. Let’s agree to disagree, shall we?
